Like he starts to develop serious issues around his age and gets super obsessed with the idea of being "young and pretty" again, to a point where it goes from wanting to be just younger, to wanting to be a teen again, to wanting to be a child. Because that makes him feel most desirable. And he just loves the feeling of having no responsibilities, and being so vulnerable to be taken advantage of.

And Rooster has this entire complex around being the "mature" one and has tendencies to being controlling and possessive so he has no issue at all stepping in as Mav's new dad (and lover).

They start out with like roleplay during sex, Rooster taking on the role of an older superior punishing (a younger) Mav for dismissing orders and generally being bratty, but it ends up fading more and more into their everyday life.

Rooster taking control of little things, like how late Maverick's allowed to stay out, and how close he can get with others. It's pretty early on that Rooster affectionately calling Mav kid, son, baby, etc becomes less of a private thing, but the norm. And Mav on the other hand calling Rooster almost exclusively sir, dad, pops or daddy.

At home it becomes a 24/7 dynamic. Maverick doesn't wash or dress himself alone at all anymore. And the lines between what is and isn't with sexual intent just blur.

Rooster just watching TV when Mav crawls into his lap, demanding attention. Excitedly bouncing up and down, making sure their dicks rub against each other everytime, repeating "Daddy daddy!!" again and again until he's sure his dad's only focused on him. When Rooster finally asks him what's up his response is "I wanna make out with your cock pretty please!", grinning, cause he knows exactly Rooster doesn't want him to talk like that.

Not that Rooster is any better when it comes to being needy. Sometimes seeing Maverick act childish in any sort of public scenario is enough to rile him up to the point that he'll take his pretty boy in a room with the door wide open, or barely hidden behind the building where anyone could walk past. He'll even make a point of scolding him like a little kid in front of their colleagues or friends.

It does happen that Mav gets so bratty that Rooster lashes out, fucking him hard until he's crying, begging and screaming, and either apologizes or passes out.
